The Gadhar Movement of 1914-15 was a historic movement by Sikh migrants, who returned to Punjab/India from America/Canada with a view to overthrow the colonial British rule.
The Gadhari Babie took inspiration and guidance from Sikh Ideology and history to adopt the path of revolution but the historians who wrote the history of Gadhar movement attempted to present the gadhar movement from Indian Nation state’s perspective, and presented as if Sikh gadhris had abandoned the Sikh values and they had totally adopted the Indian/Hindu nationalist values.
