Sikhs are politically subjugated under unitary Indian state, that is showing acute intolerance towards distinct entities/cultures/ethnicities. Currently about 100 Sikh political prisoners are confined in various jails of India, whereas about 150 others are facing cases in different courts.
In this episode of Qaumi Masle Bhai Mandhir Singh, Secretary General of Shiromani Akali Dal Panch Pardhani, explained the basis of terms these persons as ‘political prisoners’.
