Journalist Braham Chilani was a correspondent for French News agency Associated Press (AP) when Indian Army attacked the Darbar Sahib in June 1984. All foreign journalists were ordered by the government of India to leave Amritsar and Punjab before the attack. Braham Chilani was stained in Amritsar during the days of Indian Army’s attack on the Darbar Sahib in Amritsar. On 12 June Braham Chilani was able to went out of Punjab, he had filed a news with AP on June 13 that was published on front page by The Times (London) on June 14.
