Speech of Bhai Daljit Singh at Fatehgarh Channa

376 Acres of Land of farmers 3 Villages of Barnala Distt. of Punjab is forcefully acquired by Punjab Government for an Industrial Group Trident. These Villages are Fatehgarh Channa, Sanghera and Dhaula. Bhai Daljit Singh opposed this action of the State Government. A gathering was held at Gurudwara Sahib of Village Fatehgarh Channa on 19th of April, 2006. Views Shared by Bhai Daljit Singh at this gathering are recorded in this video.

On the bases of this speech the Punjab Police at the instance of Punjab Government framed a false charge of Sedition against Bhai Daljit Singh. He was arrested by the Punjab Police from his house in Ludhiana on the very next day i.e. 20th of April, 2006.

A demonsration was held by various Sikh Organization of Punjab on 02 May, 2006 at Chandigarh against forcefull aqusition of land of farmers and arrest of Bhai Daljit Singh. Video of this Demonstation is available under Political Conferences, Shaheedi Samagams and other Videos Section.
